Morecambe Bay is famed for it's sandy beaches and the shifting sands as surprisingly there are period when you can walk from end to end across them so long as you are mindful of when the Tides change as sadly a fair number have lost their lives due to that.
A basic requirement of traditional electricity generation is water so many are often sites near rivers or coasts and here is Heysham Nuclear Reactor recent having its operating period extend for a few years just opposite the side of the coast where I was staying.
At the far right hand side you'll spot the more modern Wind Turbines.
