On the drive in I stopped at Over Wyresdale in the Trough of Bowland to stretch my legs and enjoy the views such as Jubilee Tower which is a folly.
The Jubilee Tower is situated on the edge of the Forest of Bowland and has stood there battling all weathers for nearly 140 years.
It was built in 1887 by James Harrison, a successful shipbuilder, to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
