This is being assembled Easter Day between some storm damage so things are a bit hetic.
Anyway many Scout groups around the world do have what I'd call whole events days that cover making Easter connected arts and crafts things like bonnets, bunnies (never can have enough bunnies!) egg decoration and various games.Monday, 6 April 2026

Easter fun
Easter is with us and so across the Easter weekend scouts up and down the country will be holding Easter Egg hunts often with a prize.
Running around looking anywhere within the target area fur them is just fun and I just love it!

Making a difference
While we all would think straight off about what we might get from Easter, these Cubs from Wrexham, North Wales decided to put things the other way around by sending Easter cards to residents of care home and spreading some good cheer.
They stopped off before attending their regular weekly meeting to make a detour aided by the Miss Teen of this welsh town and in return they recieved cards and refreshments.

Easter fun
We're entering Easter so many Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs will be taking part in Easter related activities such as making Easter Bonnets, cards drawing, cuttting out and writing the greeting apart from that great staple, the Easter Egg Hunt.
How many of us don't feel the pull of something so simple and infectious as going around armed with clues looking for where these eggs have been hidden over, in or under things around the course.
That's before we consider the eggs themselves!
I'll be tucking into mine across Easter so have fun!

Scouting is Eggsellent!
Well it's Easter Monday on here so just what would you expect to see on this blog?
Many local Scout Groups (and Guides too) have easter events on which includes the evergreen, bags of fun Easter Egg Hunt, trying to spot them in the most oddest places they could of been left in.
That one's in this south of this area.
Well this little chap seems to be finding them.
They don't grow underground surely?
That is this blog writers main egg which will be consumed no doubt today cos he's pretty kid like at heart loving this time of year.Friday, 2 April 2021
Easter edition
Today we're looking at Easter in Scouting.
Easter is marked in different ways and one the First North Sutton, Surrey scouts are doing this year is a easter crafts challenge which fits the "At Home" agenda with the pandemic where people will make things as I did when I was younger and they'll be all shared.
Scouting Ireland for instance in Beavers and Cubs is running a design and send a Easter Card that will be dropped off to care homes to add a bit cheer to elderly residents who haven't been able to have visitors at easter in the way we normally would.
In Northern Ireland they had a bake off with an easter theme.
That perennial, the Easter Egg Hunt is still happening this year which was and is a load of fun.
